Nouakchott, March 12 (BNA): Mauritania said that three of the four terrorists who escaped last week from the central prison were killed.
And the fourth arrested the ministries of defense and interior, in a statement carried by the Mauritanian News Agency.
The statement said an officer was also killed in the pursuit.
Last Sunday, Mauritania said that two prison guards were killed in an exchange of fire with terrorists fleeing from the central prison in the capital, Nouakchott.
