what are you going to do

At Chalhoub, we share amazing experiences together! As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic development of marketing plans and in communicating marketing performance objectives, ensuring that progress is always on track and aligned with strategic objectives.

Administrative

Establishing marketing department policies and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met
Overseeing the operations of the marketing department, providing expertise, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating relevant professional work procedures in order to achieve high performance standards and employees are proud to contribute
Monitor the annual budget of the marketing department and control spending to ensure optimal utilization

Marketing and Strategic Operations

Define, develop and evaluate a marketing strategy, based on knowledge of the organization’s goals, market characteristics, cost factors and brand
Formulating, directing and coordinating marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers
Participate with the Brand/Product Managers and/or Department Manager in preparing the appropriate annual plan for the market and in accordance with the brands guidelines
– Participation with the General Manager in a strategic meeting with suppliers and regional teams… to negotiate commercial terms (margin, animation, exclusivity…)
Monitoring market trends, identifying new target markets and identifying potential locations
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, logistics, marketing and merchandising regarding new openings, closings or renovations
Maintaining a smooth relationship with suppliers and business partners

Report

Follow up on sales reports and use the information to take necessary action when necessary
– Recording, monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activities and presenting proposed action plans
Providing the General Manager with quantitative and qualitative reports using data from market studies

Finance

Assist the General Manager in defining the annual strategic plan for the network, preparing annual budgets and forecast sales
– Developing pricing strategies and balancing company goals with customer satisfaction
Managing the organization’s resources within budget guidelines
Providing prompt, comprehensive and accurate information to keep management informed of the financial position of the organization

team management

Set individual goals for the purposes of managing employee performance, managing performance, empowering employees, and providing formal and informal feedback in order to support professional development and maximize performance

What you will need to succeed

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or any related field
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience in developing marketing plans and campaigns
– Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
A metrics-driven marketing mind with a focus on creativity
