Washington, Oct. 1 (BNA) The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani met here today with US Trade Representative Catherine Taye.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Assistant Undersecretary for Internal and External Trade at the Ministry of Industry, Sheikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials from both sides.
The minister stressed the importance of the Bahraini-US relations, especially in the commercial fields, noting that they are constantly strengthened through joint agreements, mutual visits and related commercial programs.
Minister Al-Zayani highlighted the critical role that the private sector in the two countries can play to benefit from the incentives provided by the two countries’ agreements, especially with regard to increasing bilateral trade exchange and expanding the scope of exports and imports between the two countries. .
