Manama, September 15 (BNA) Today, Manama defeated Sitra 98/61 in the first round of the Zain Bahrain Basketball Championship.
Manama dominated the match that was held at the Umm Al Hamad sports arena, winning four quarters 24-18. 20-13; 29-19 and 25-21.
Manama player Mohammed Amir scored 27 points for his team, while Ali Eid scored 17 points for Sitra.
In another match, Al-Najma achieved its first victory by defeating Bahrain 68-68 (20-13; 7-16; 19-16 and 21-12).
