Manama, September 25 (BNA) The Labor Market Regulatory Authority announced that a number of illegal expatriate workers are scheduled to be deported, in compliance with the law.
The violators were arrested during a crackdown carried out in the Capital Governorate by the Labor Inspection Directorate of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs.
The joint inspection campaign aims to ensure that migrant workers comply with the regulations of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the residency law in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The authority announced in a statement today that it will intensify inspections in cooperation with the competent authorities, as part of joint efforts with the Ministry of Interior.
LMRA inspectors will continue to scrutinize commercial records across the country to crack down on any illegal practices that harm the labor market.
