LMRA conducts two inspection campaigns in Muharraq and Capital Governorates

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out two inspection campaigns in the Muharraq Governorate and the Capital Governorate, on a number of shops and work sites.

The campaigns resulted in reports of violations of labor market and residency laws. Cases have been referred for legal action.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority indicated that a joint inspection campaign was conducted in Muharraq Governorate, in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Police Directorate in the governorate.

The other inspection campaign was conducted in the Capital Governorate by the Implementation Sector of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices, by reporting violations via the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.bh or by calling the authority’s call center. at 17506055.
