Manama, December 10 (BNA) The Labor Market Regulatory Authority implemented an inspection campaign in the Northern Governorate in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs of the Ministry of Interior and the Northern Governorate Directorate.
The campaign, which included several work sites, resulted in monitoring a number of violations related to the provisions of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority Law and the Residence Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the arrest of a number of workers violating regulations and laws, noting that the deportation procedures were carried out in accordance with the applicable legal mechanisms.
The authority pointed out that this campaign comes as a continuation of its intensive efforts in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and relevant government agencies to develop the work environment and address all practices that would affect the competitiveness, fairness and flexibility of the labor market. In addition to its negative effects on social security.
The authority stressed the importance of the society’s role in supporting the efforts of government agencies that seek to maintain society’s security and health and economic stability, calling on the public to report any violations related to the labor market and illegal immigrant workers.
