LMRA CEO receives Indian ambassador


Manama, April 11 (BNA) The Chief Executive Officer of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking Jamal Abdulaziz Al-Alawi received Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Shrivastav.

The CEO discussed the latest developments in the conditions of investors and businessmen and the facilities provided to facilitate their work in the Kingdom.


He praised the Kingdom’s efforts to raise the level of the work environment and protect work parties, noting the important role played by diplomatic missions in cooperation with government agencies to enhance bilateral relations.


Al Alawi reviewed the conditions of Indian workers in Bahrain, pointing to the efforts made by the Kingdom to develop laws and legislation that contribute to maintaining an appropriate work environment that provides protection for the worker while preserving the rights of the employer, praising the great role. It is played by Indian workers in various fields.


The ambassador praised the attention given by the authority to all workers, praising the regulations, laws and facilities provided to investors, businessmen and workers, stressing his country’s keenness to cooperate with the authority.


The two sides agreed to enhance joint work with regard to the labor market and to activate bilateral committees and specialized technical work teams.
