Manama, April 11 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Yasser Shaaban.
The meeting discussed strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries.
She praised the Egyptian presence in the annual cultural programs, the 16th Spring of Culture Festival, the anniversary of the Arab traveler Ibn Battuta, and the Arab Tourism Day.
The ambassador valued the authority’s work in enriching cultural relations between the two countries, expressing his readiness to cooperate in implementing cultural projects and programmes.
