London, Feb. 22 (BNA): Liverpool strikers Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino questioned the League Cup final against Chelsea on Sunday.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said the players had “no chance” of appearing against Leeds in the Premier League on Wednesday as Jota injured his ankle and Firmino had a muscle problem.
The Associated Press said Klopp did not rule them out for the final at Wembley, but he does not appear optimistic.
“Now it would be easy to say ‘no’ but we’ll see,” Klopp said. “They weren’t on the field for training, so that’s not a good sign. We have to see what we can do with the boys in the next few days and make a decision in the next few days.”
