Legal actions taken against violating restaurants, café

Manama, December 24 (BNA) The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism closed a restaurant for violating the precautionary measures of the yellow alert level.

The intensive inspection campaigns that were carried out yesterday in the Capital Governorate in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health and the Bahrain Exhibition and Tourism Authority revealed that 28 restaurants and cafes violated the same health protocols approved to curb the spread of the new Corona virus pandemic, and legal measures were taken accordingly.

The Ministry of Health also carried out 23 visits to 23 salons for men and women, and took legal measures against two violators.

The Ministry of Industry called on everyone to continue to adhere to the precautionary measures, and to immediately report any violations or abuses, noting that the inspection campaigns aim to protect public health and limit the spread of the epidemic.
