The Learning and Development Manager (F&B) is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, managing and evaluating all aspects of learning and development programmes. Reporting to the CEO, this position will be responsible for the strategic planning and financing of acquisition initiatives for the Food and Beverage industry that contribute to achieving industry goals in both primary farming and food and beverage manufacturing.
basic tasks
Plan, develop and oversee program content to meet the human resource and training needs of the food and beverage industry (food and beverage manufacturing and primary agriculture sub-sectors)
Contracting and supervising trainers to provide accredited educational and human programs for the food and beverage industry (food and beverage industry and primary agriculture sub-sectors)
qualifications
Post-secondary degree or certificate in Education, Food and Beverage and/or equivalent education and experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in adult education, training systems and learning systems/theories
Must be familiar with the food and beverage industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing, proposal development, presentation and facilitation abilities
