Manama, December 21 (BNA): The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayad, presented his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. On the occasion of the successful launch of the first Bahraini-Emirati satellite “Light 1”.
He described the historic achievement as a result of the directives of His Majesty the King and His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, to launch a joint satellite aimed at supporting scientific research and supporting international efforts in space exploration.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, congratulated him on the achievement, praising his follow-up to all the measures taken by the National Space Science Agency (NSSA) and the support of young national cadres who worked with their Emirati counterparts to achieve the achievement.
