Manama, December 18 (BNA) A cycling march was organized on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Day, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic state founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783 AD. Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne.
The Bahrain Cycling Federation organized the ceremonial march in cooperation with the Northern Governorate under the slogan: “A leader and a people .. the joy of a nation.”
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Governor of the North Ali bin Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Asfour and other officials.
The show, which embodies the meaning of loyalty and patriotism, started at the famous Bahrain Fort and ended at Bait Al Jasra.
Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Football Association, and Governor of the North Ali bin Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Asfoor, led more than seventy passengers who participated in the event.
