When reporting to the Assistant Laundry Manager, you will ensure that all tasks relating to guests and laundry colleagues are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
Summary of responsibilities:
– Operating the washer, dryer, pressing machine and basic knowledge in dry cleaning machine.
– Sorts napkins and tablecloths according to their classification
– Well acquainted with different types of chemicals.
Transfer of monthly inventories.
– Organize and properly put linens away in the storage area.
– Pieces separated, torn and stained.
Ensures that linens are clean and folded correctly.
– Maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
Responsible for ensuring that the demand for the supply of linen is met.
– Sort all linens according to their classification.
– Sorting all clothes by type of fabric and process.
Ensure that all formal wear, guest laundry and executive laundry are well pressed and tidy without stains and damage.
– Report any maintenance problems.
Assisting other colleagues in the uniform and laundry area.
Receive shipments from the outsourcing company and report any discrepancies.
– Perform other duties as assigned and requested
qualifications:
– At least one year of experience.
Familiarity with the washing process.
Familiar with different types of stains and washing chemicals.
Familiar with different types of fabrics and processes.
– Expert in washer, dryer, pressing machines and dry cleaning machine.
– Good in oral and written communication.
