Late Locatelli winner sees Juventus beat Torino 1-0 in derby

Milan, October 2 (BNA) Manuel Locatelli scored a late goal to lead Juventus to a 1-0 victory over Turin in the Italian Serie A derby on Saturday.

Locatelli scored four minutes before the end, but it was a disappointing performance from Juventus, who continued to struggle in the Italian league, according to the Associated Press.

Juventus have won only three of their first seven matches and are eighth in the league. It is already seven points behind Serie A leaders Napoli, which has played a game less.

Defending champions Inter Milan could move one point away from Napoli if they beat the talented Sassuolo team later.

Juventus were looking to build on an impressive 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Champions League, but didn’t even score on goal in a mediocre first-half performance from Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
