Labour Ministry, iGA announce launch of National Platform for Bahrain Experts

Manama, March 25 (BNA): Under the auspices of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Committee to Follow up the Implementation of the National Plan to Spread and Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Homeland. National Values ​​(Bahraini), the national platform for Bahraini experts was launched during a celebration marking community partnership and belonging to the homeland.


The Bahrain Experts National Platform was designed based on the directives of the Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Follow-up Committee, and with the support of the Executive Office of Bahrain, the Ministry of Labor, and the Information and e-Government Authority.


The platform brings together national experts in various fields, recognizing their CVs and professional levels in 6 sectors (Finance, Insurance, Banking, Health, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Manufacturing and Real Estate).

On this occasion, Minister of Labor Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, a member of the ministerial committee, stated that this initiative comes within the framework of celebrating community partnership and belonging to the homeland, which indicates that the national plan (Bahrainiona). It proceeds according to the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He referred to the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


The minister added that the platform aims to achieve a number of national goals based on developing national skills and appreciating their distinguished expertise, which will be promoted locally and globally, as well as being a catalyst for creativity and excellence.

The minister praised the joint efforts to reach the national achievement today and launch the national platform for Bahraini experts within the “Bahrainiuna” initiatives.


The CEO of the Information and eGovernment Authority, Muhammad Ali Al Qaed, affirmed that, under the directives of the Minister of Interior, a comprehensive study was conducted by the Information and eGovernment Authority team of all procedures related to the workflow of the platform, in addition to developing the interface of the platform and the operating system associated with the platform.


Al-Qaed pointed out that the implementation of this initiative by the Ministry of Labor and e-Government reflects the spirit of cooperation between government agencies. He expressed his appreciation to all the teams and committees that made dedicated efforts to achieve this achievement.

The national platform for Bahraini experts www.experts.bh is a national database of Bahraini expertise in various fields and includes 6 sectors under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor in cooperation with the Information and e-Government Authority and in coordination with the concerned authorities in the Kingdom. The platform also contains general instructions and information about the initiative, its goals, how to register, and support information for the assistance required.


Furthermore, it should be noted that applications for potential experts will be reviewed by an approved committee specialized in each sector, where applications are evaluated. The platform provides statistical data to the concerned authorities through a clear and accurate electronic process determined by the Authority.
