Labour Minister attends Indian community’s celebration of Labour Day

Manama, May 2 (BNA): As part of the Kingdom’s celebration of International Workers’ Day (Labor Day), and in honor of all the workforce in the Kingdom, the Indian Club held its annual Labor Day celebration.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Labor Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, Chairman of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and President of the Club, K.

The celebration witnessed artistic performances on tolerance and dialogue between cultures. It also presented folkloric tableaus that reflect the rich Indian heritage and culture.

The Minister of Labor congratulated all workers in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Labor Day, describing the occasion as an opportunity to honor the workforce in the Kingdom for its main role in production and development.
