Manama, May 9 (BNA): Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan received Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Rithsri Wegertney Mendez.
The minister praised the Bahraini-Sri Lankan relations.
The meeting reviewed the labor sector and exchanged experiences in the field of developing human resources and enhancing social protection for workers.
The minister highlighted Bahrain’s continued commitment to developing the labor market in accordance with the standards of the International Labor Organization.
The ambassador praised the level of bilateral cooperation, and expressed his appreciation for ensuring the welfare of the Sri Lankan community in Bahrain.
