Labor Minister meets Jordanian Premier

Amman, October 25 (BNA) Minister of Labor and Social Development Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan met with Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh.

The minister conveyed the greetings of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Jordanian Prime Minister, and his keenness to strengthen and develop brotherly relations at various levels.

The meeting reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the Arab world in combating poverty and developing services provided to vulnerable groups in society, including the elderly, people with disabilities and low-income families.

They discussed the role of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs (KAMSA) in strengthening the system of joint Arab action through the League of Arab States, and its efforts to study and discuss all the difficulties and challenges facing the Arab countries and ways to avoid them. .

The meeting also dealt with the efforts and initiatives undertaken by Arab countries to confront the repercussions of the Covid-19 epidemic, whether at the health or economic levels.
