Kuwait launches advisory economic unit

Kuwait, August 30 (BNA) Head of the Kuwaiti Prime Minister’s Office Abdulaziz Dakhil Al-Dakhil announced today the launch of an economic advisory unit headed by His Highness the Prime Minister and includes representatives of the concerned government agencies.


The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) stated that this was based on the directives of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah on the importance of adopting an advanced approach to support the national economy and work to attract investments and value. Strengthening the role of the private sector in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.


Al-Dakhil explained that the unit will undertake the task of reviewing and developing economic, financial and development legislation and policies to achieve Kuwait Vision 2035 and many other tasks.


Al-Dakhil indicated that the unit will work to strengthen the links between economic, financial, development and operational institutions, and unify their efforts to promote economic development in the country.


Al-Dakhil added that the unit will discuss ways to improve the environment of small and medium enterprises in a way that enhances their role in achieving the country’s economic development goals, noting that it will work to consolidate national economic security, to provide economic security. Economic environment, stimulating growth and investment.
