Health, Safety and Environment Requirements:
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may involve potential risks to your health or safety.
• The hotel will provide the required personal protective equipment. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or missing PPE to your manager, or equipment that does not fit properly.

• Repair or replace all types of tiles, floors and walls when required
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition and keep all stores organized.

• Responsible for repairing or replacing all types of tiles, flooring and wall tiles when required.

• Carry out plaster repair work on walls.

• Ensure that all Work Order, PPM and general maintenance works are carried out, as directed by the direct supervisor.
• Ensure that the engineering area is safe, and that it is kept clean and in an orderly manner. Maintain close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation.
• Follow the guest room preventive maintenance checklist to complete the preventive maintenance process for individual rooms in guest rooms in an efficient and effective manner.
• Ability to find faults and correct systems when required.

Teaching qualification criteria:
• Knowledge about mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting and general maintenance is required.

• All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or clothing required as part of the orientation process will be explained.
