Justice Minister praises senior voters’ participation in the elections

Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, and Chairman of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Authority, Nawaf Abdullah Hamzah, today visited the Bahraini citizens, Ibrahim Shaaban and Issa Rashid Al-Aradi. , who were the oldest voters to cast their ballots in the 2022 parliamentary and municipal elections.


The minister said that this visit is a token of gratitude for the high patriotic spirit of the elderly who participated in the elections, and an embodiment of the people’s contributions to the comprehensive development of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He indicated a high voter turnout among the elderly, both male and female, in the 2022 parliamentary and municipal elections, based on the contributions of fathers and grandfathers in the various stages of national action.


The minister praised the large participation of voters, which reflects their keenness to contribute effectively and positively to national achievements and to maximize gains. He extended his deep thanks and gratitude to the citizens for their participation in the elections, which are a source of inspiration and pride, wishing them good health and wellness.
