Justice Minister chairs GCC meeting

Manama, October 13 (BNA) The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa presided over the seventh meeting of ministers responsible for Islamic affairs and endowments in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held remotely. Today.

In his speech before the session, Sheikh Khalid bin Ali welcomed the GCC ministers, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of Islamic affairs to support and develop the Islamic endowments sector to increase its contributions to the sustainable development process.

The meeting dealt with a number of topics on its agenda, foremost of which is the renewal of the concept of religious discourse, cooperation in the field of endowments and Islamic affairs, and the exchange of research and scientific expertise in the field of endowment among the GCC states.
