The largest exhibition of jewelry and watches in the Middle East opened, on Tuesday, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The 29th edition of this world’s most prestigious annual fair runs until November 20.

The five-day fair remains a major attraction for lovers of classic and contemporary designs and jewelery craftsmanship, and this year visitors from Bahrain and other GCC countries can access a wide range of ready-made jewellery, watches, gemstones, luxury watches, writing instruments, luxury accessories and more from around the world.

Renowned watch and jewelry houses are participating in Jewelery Arabia 2021, including Asia Jewelers, Bahrain Jewelery Centre, Roberto Quinn, Al Hashemi Pearls, Deviji and many more.

These prominent international exhibitors are using the event as a platform to showcase exclusive collections and limited-edition pieces to the buyers market in the Middle East.

The 29th edition of Jewelery Arabia is also seeing a 25% increase in the participation of new brands, among them Arnold & Son, Samer Halimeh, Gorgoglione and Aida Bergsen.

Complementing these brands, Jewelery Arabia also offers a rich experience to shoppers through a variety of activities.

In partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Pearls and Gemstones (Danat), the Pearl Peeling Experience, held at the main entrance, offers shoppers the opportunity to try their luck opening oysters in search of the most beautiful natural pearl, reflecting Bahrain’s traditional pearl diving heritage.

In the main corridor of Hall 1, illustrator Spandana Bandari (also known as Artsydoodler) welcomes visitors at her customization station throughout the event to decorate their jewelry gift box.

For the first time, Jewelery Arabia shoppers will get the chance to add their personal touch to their purchases – the result of a collaboration with ThePopUpShop.co, a local concept that promotes local talent.

In a true reflection of jewelry as an art form, visitors will be able to discover a one-of-a-kind art exhibition curated by local artist Maha Al Sahhaf, the personality behind ThePopUpShop.co.

Located in Hall 2, Speak Sincerely’s journey inspired by feminine forms and a celebration of femininity brings together the works of five local and international artists including Zain Al Qahtani (Bahrain), Mais Al Mousawi (Oman), Spandana Bandari (Bahrain), Stephen Alexander (Canada) and List Art Maha Al-Sahhaf herself.

Moreover, to make it easier to navigate around the event and find specific brands, visitors can download the Jewelery Arabia mobile app from the Apple and Google Play stores.
