Japan’s jobless rate falls to 2.5% in Nov

Tokyo, December 27 (BNA): Government data showed, on Tuesday, that the unemployment rate in Japan fell to 2.5% in November, while job availability remained at its highest level since March 2020.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate matched the median forecast of economists in a Reuters poll, and fell from 2.6 percent in October.

Labor Ministry data showed that the job-to-applicant ratio stood at 1.35, unchanged from October.
