Japan PM Kishida to appoint ex-education minister Hayashi as foreign minister

Tokyo, November 6 (BNA) Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is expected to appoint former Minister of Education Yoshimasa Hayashi as a new foreign minister, Jiji News Agency reported on Saturday.

According to Reuters, the appointment will be part of a new government that Kishida is expected to form on Wednesday, after his ruling party’s victory in the House of Representatives elections on October 31.
