The jobs are only concerned with the day-to-day internal audit of financial, operational and compliance controls and systems. Ensures successful completion of assigned audits, from start to finish, including pre-planning and completion activities.
Responsibilities:
– Performs any other special tasks assigned to it by the Management and Audit Committee.
– Update and prepare internal audit policies and procedures to develop internal audit activities and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct a strategic risk assessment, define the audit universe, formulate the annual audit plan, and manage internal audit engagements related to financial and operational audits.
Preparing operations maps, assessing risks and developing an audit program.
Perform audit field work, prepare audit reports and have a discussion with process owners in accordance with the recommended IIA standards.
Document audit worksheet and other electronic records or hard copies collected during the audit process in accordance with established standards and standard audit procedures.
Conducting the audit follow-up according to the audit evaluation.
Communicates assigned tasks to the engagement team in a clear and concise manner that ensures high quality, accurate and effective results.
Contribute to achieving department goals and identifying key performance indicators on a regular basis.
Performs special assignments and advisory engagements.
Maintain a professional relationship with internal audit stakeholders.
Participate in raising institutional awareness of the culture of risk and the control environment by holding workshops on auditing and ensuring risks, sending awareness messages to the concerned parties, and presenting the achievements of internal audit to enhance the image of internal audit.
