Interior Minister’s directives to work out executive mechanism for reform and open prisons programme praised

Cairo, October 13 (BNA) The Arab Observatory for Human Rights praised the Arab Parliament for the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, of the need to start putting in place the necessary executive mechanisms to adopt the reform centers program and open prisons in The Kingdom of Bahrain, according to clear-cut regulations. She described the step as a pioneering initiative that reflects the Kingdom’s keenness to protect and promote the human rights system as a role model in accordance with international standards.

In a statement, the Arab Observatory for Human Rights praised the meeting of the Bahraini Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, with heads and representatives of human rights institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his directives to expedite the development of the executive mechanism.
