Manama, November 20 (BNA) Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today a delegation from the British House of Commons. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Chief of Public Security Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan.
The Minister of Interior welcomed British officials to visit them to participate in the annual Manama Dialogue 2021. He briefed the delegation on the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to protect security and public safety. He said that human rights are a civil heritage and part of the culture of Bahraini society. He added that such a legacy represents a national success supported by the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
During the meeting, they reviewed the historical relations between the two countries and security cooperation.
