Manama, August 11 (BNA) Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa held a meeting today with the Head of Public Security, governors and security officials on the occasion of Ashura commemoration this year.
The Minister expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, praising the royal patronage that contributed to the success of this year’s rituals.
He praised the support of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and following up on the needs of all fields.
Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, thanking the governors for their role, their continuous communication and their field work to overcome obstacles.
He also praised the professional performance of officers, non-commissioned officers and military personnel, praising the commitment and cooperation of the heads of community centers and members of the Husseini marches, which reflects their awareness and national responsibility.
