Manama on December 15 (US):The Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, confirmed today that violators of the law who spread malicious allegations against Bahrain in Lebanon have offended Bahrain and Lebanon.
He explained that these individuals have cooperative relations with foreign bodies that work against Bahrain and interfere in its internal affairs.
This came in a telephone conversation with his Lebanese counterpart Bassam Mawlawi. They discussed a press conference held in Lebanon based on false information about Bahrain and its people.
The Minister of Interior stressed that such practices harm Lebanon and its people, praising the concerns and interest of the Lebanese official, and his dedication to taking legal measures against violators.
The two sides reviewed security cooperation and coordination to strengthen relations and prevent such violations.
