Interior Minister attends ceremony organized by General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing

Manama, May 28 (BNA): The Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, attended today the ceremony of the General Administration for the Implementation of Judgments and Alternative Judgment.

The event was held to honor the role of sponsors and partners in the success of the “Fasel Khair” initiatives. Senior officials, sponsors and partners attended.

The Minister of Interior affirmed that “Fasil Khair” is a joint project to highlight the human conscience and the richness of Bahrain’s traditions and people. He said that it represents one of the initiatives of the national plan to spread the spirit of belonging to the nation and consolidate the values ​​of nationalism (Bahraini). The Director General said that the first campaign to list the names of unpaid loan holders received positive responses, including the support given to the initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and the Supreme Council. President of the Supreme Council for Women, by paying off all the debts of the females on the list. The ceremony also included a short video presentation about the initiative, which was launched three years ago, and its achievements.

After that, the Minister of Interior honored the initiative’s sponsors, partners, influencers on social media, members of the initiative committees, and the organizers.

The initiative was launched based on the directives of the Minister of Interior. It is followed by the Director General for Enforcement of Provisions and Alternative Provisions for Acceptance of Donations for Those Who Couldn’t Pay Their Loans and Those Who Were Sentenced to Imprisonment.
