Manama, August 17 (BNA) Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan received the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Stephen C. Bundy and discussed ways to strengthen the joint partnership, praising the strong cooperation in all fields.
She highlighted Bahrain’s success in combating the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19), explaining the Kingdom’s plans to develop the health sector in light of the health insurance and self-management project.
The minister also emphasized plans to enhance opportunities for health investment and medical tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and stressed the importance of further expanding cooperation.
The American diplomat praised the advanced level of bilateral relations, which contributes to expanding cooperation and exchanging medical expertise.
