INJAZ Career Expo 2023 kicks off

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): In the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of INJAZ Bahrain, Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint. Issa Al Khalifa, inaugurated the first edition of the “Injaz Career Fair”.


Under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Supreme Elections Committee, INJAZ 2023 exhibition is organized at the American University of Bahrain by INJAZ Bahrain, a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, and Junior Achievement International, the largest global non-profit youth organization, in cooperation with a number of governmental and non-governmental agencies.


On this occasion, Her Highness Sheikha Hessa affirmed that the job fair is in line with INJAZ Bahrain’s goals of empowering Bahraini youth and preparing them for a successful career in the future.


She added that the exhibition will provide an opportunity for more than 1,000 primary and intermediate students to learn about seven professional fields, which are photography, chemical engineering, space science, design, goldsmithing, civil defense, interior design, decoration, investigators and forensic medicine.


The Secretary-General of the Supreme Elections Committee said that the recruitment fair will bring together more than 3,000 people, including students, career advisors and business leaders under one roof, adding that more than 25 companies and 13 universities will participate in this event, which will enable students to learn more about Career trends, networking with professionals, and exploring opportunities that will help them develop their careers in the future.

The CEO of the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), Maha Abdul Hameed Mafiz, said that Tamkeen’s participation in the employment fair comes within the framework of its efforts aimed at supporting Bahraini youth so that they become the best choice for employment.
