Information Minister receives evaluation committee of “Outside the Box” initiative

Manama, Feb. 8 (BNA): Information Minister Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi affirmed the ministry’s keenness to move forward in developing visual content on all platforms by establishing a “media creativity bank” in order to enable the national media to highlight the Kingdom’s achievements in various fields.

This came during his meeting with members of the committee for evaluating the “out of the box” creative ideas initiative, who presented him with the final evaluation of 192 ideas submitted by 92 employees of the Ministry of Information in various fields.

The Minister of Information praised the committee, which included national media competencies from outside the ministry and supportive work teams from the ministry. He praised the efforts made over a period of three months to evaluate the ideas professionally and in accordance with academic standards.

The minister confirmed that the “Outside the Box” initiative is one of the “Innovators’ Lab” initiatives launched by the ministry to take advantage of the creativity potential of the ministry’s employees and benefit from their experiences.

The Minister of Information said that the final results of the evaluation will receive the attention and support of all departments and committees concerned with developing visual content.

The committee for evaluating the “Outside the Box” initiative included in its membership the competencies of the national media, Moanis Al-Mardi, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sayed, Dr. Maha Al-Rasheed, Ayman Marhoon, Khaled Al-Ruwaiei, Khalil Al-Rumaithi. Enas Yaqoub, Mohammed Al-Mahmeed, Rashid Al-Hamr, Osama Al-Saif, Hashem Sharaf and Ahmed Bucheery.
