Manama, May 6 (BNA): Information Minister Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi congratulated the press and media on the Bahrain Press Day, which falls on May 7 of each year.
He praised the role of the press in highlighting national achievements, noting the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
In a statement issued today, he expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King for dedicating the annual day in honor of the national press and its pivotal role over generations.
He praised the efforts of the press and media professionals in highlighting Bahrain’s achievements and exercising their role professionally and efficiently.
Dr. Al Nuaimi praised the role of young people who work side by side with veterans, which contributed to achieving tangible achievements, pointing out that the press and media sector embraces young talents and provides training opportunities, whether in traditional or social media.
He renewed commitment to supporting the role of journalistic and media work to keep abreast of developments, while adhering to media ethics.
