Manama, November 22 (BNA) Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Muhammad Al-Rumaihi praised the strong brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Khalifa. This came in a statement to Jordan News Agency (Petra) on the occasion of the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He said that the people of Bahrain appreciate Jordan’s historical and honorable positions in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Arab interests and just causes.
The minister welcomed His Majesty King Abdullah II to Bahrain, adding that the mutual visits between the leaders of the two countries open up renewed prospects for joint cooperation.
“Each visit represents a decisive moment in the history of the distinguished relations between Bahrain and Jordan, which support common interests and consolidate security, stability and development,” he said.
He stressed the need to intensify consultation and coordination, amid the volatile global situation, to overcome challenges, praising the fruitful results of the talks between His Majesty the King and the Jordanian monarch.
He praised the two leaders’ keenness to coordinate efforts to confront regional and international challenges, expressing hope that the results of the visit would lead to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding joint cooperation.
