iGA recipients of the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit congratulated

Manama, December 26 (BNA) The Chief Executive Officer of the Information and eGovernment Authority, Muhammad Ali Al-Qaed, met with a number of members of the Information and eGovernment Authority team who were awarded the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit.

The Leader expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King, highlighting the important role played by the Information and eGovernment Authority throughout the outbreak of the pandemic, as its team members work tirelessly to support Bahrain’s recovery.

He said that His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister are committed to spreading advanced technologies in enhancing government work and providing more services via the Internet.

His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, praised his support for the efforts of the work team, adding that this had a significant impact on the digital transformation of the Kingdom and improving the quality of government electronic services, which helped maintain the continuity of daily government transactions for the public.

The Leader congratulated the executive directors of the Information and eGovernment Authority, noting their recent contributions to public health and safety through the provision of electronic services.

He said that the Information and e-Government Authority has continuously contributed to the efforts made to combat the epidemic since its appearance, thanks to the patriotism of its team members and their sense of responsibility towards their community.

The CEO noted that the awards are a great honor for the leadership of the Information and eGovernment Authority, which is looking forward to continuing its service to the nation. The medal recipients expressed their appreciation for this honor, which will motivate them to continue giving back to their country, the leader and the rest of the Information and eGovernment Authority team.
