Industry Ministry inaugurates Ascon Control W.L.L.

Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA) The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, said that Bahrain welcomes investments that contribute to advancing economic growth.

The Minister highlighted the package of facilities and incentives provided by the government to enhance Bahrain’s position as an investment destination.

He stressed the importance of the recently launched strategy, which aims to increase the industrial sector’s contribution to the GDP, enhance exports, create rewarding job opportunities for citizens, and support the transformation of this vital sector into the fourth sector. industrial Revolution.

Al-Zayani stated that he inaugurated the Ascon Control WLL owned by AMAD Group, in the presence of the Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Piyush Srivastava.

The opening ceremony, which was held at the Askar Industrial Farm District, was also attended by AMED Group General Manager, Pampavasan Nair, members of the Board of Directors of Ascon Control WLL and other senior officials.

The minister praised the standards of the factory specialized in the manufacture of engines, generators and other power supply devices, which has been operating in Bahrain for 15 years.

The factory is built on an area of ​​7150 square meters and is also specialized in the production of electrical distribution and control devices and electrical contracting.

The plant will manufacture an approximate quantity of 72,000 to 150,000 low voltage panels annually and the production targets the market of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the eastern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
