Brazilian President Bolsonaro hospitalized with intestinal blockage

Brasilia, Jan. 3 (BNA) The government said in a statement that Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was taken to hospital in Sao Paulo on Monday, suspected of having an intestinal obstruction.

The statement said the 66-year-old woman entered for treatment after complaining of “abdominal pain”.

According to the g1 news site, he was taken to hospital from Santa Catarina, where he was vacationing on the southern coast of Brazil, according to the German news agency (dpa).
