Manama, September 1 (BNA) Minister of Industry and Commerce Zayed Rashid Al-Zayani received the head of the Bahrain Volunteer Diving Team Khaled Al-Saeed and its members.
The Minister congratulated them on the second anniversary of the establishment of BDVT, praising the team’s efforts in spreading the culture of diving, reviving the national heritage and volunteering.
He stressed the work of BDVT to raise awareness of the importance of preserving marine life, in addition to preparing environmental studies and organizing programs that contribute to reviving the history of diving and enhancing the marine environment.
Al Zayani was awarded the BDVT Honorary Chair in recognition of his continued support.
