Manama, February 15 (BNA) His Excellency Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with His Excellency Mrs. Orit Farkash Hacohen, the Israeli Minister of Innovation. science and technology to enhance bilateral cooperation in the areas of research and development. The virtual signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of the visit of the Israeli Prime Minister, Mr. Naftali Bennett, to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al-Zayani stressed the importance of deepening bilateral relations with the State of Israel to serve the interests of both countries. He explained that the memorandum of understanding aims to establish a common framework for joint industrial and commercial cooperation, especially in the fields of research, development and technological innovation.
The minister explained that the memorandum of understanding covers the Kingdom’s strategic priorities in the industrial field, including carbon capture, energy efficiency, advanced manufacturing and e-commerce.
