Industry and Commerce Minister addresses FCCIB business luncheon

Manama, March 1 (BNA): The Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, affirmed the depth of relations between Bahrain and France at various levels, the most important of which are in trade and industry, citing the joint economic agreements signed between the two countries. During the official visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the French Republic on April 28, 2019.

This came during a business lunch organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain (FCCIB), in the presence of the French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard, and the President of the FCCIB, Jean-Christophe Durand. For a number of members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, businessmen and investors in the Kingdom at the Gulf Hotel – Bahrain.

The minister indicated that the government of Bahrain has taken many steps to make the Kingdom an attractive destination for foreign companies and investments, as the local economy continues to grow and prosper thanks to the diversification policy.

He also reviewed the set of measures taken by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to facilitate procedures and attract more investments at the local, regional and global levels.

FCCIB is part of the network of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad (CCI France International). It aims to strengthen economic relations between Bahrain and France.
