Manama, October 21 (BNA) His Majesty the King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received the Speaker of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, at Riffa Palace.
His Highness highlighted the strength of the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, stressing the importance of continuing support for bilateral cooperation to achieve common goals.
His Highness welcomed His Excellency Al-Ghanim in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and pointed out the importance of exchanging best practices and experiences between the two countries and their peoples.
For his part, the Speaker of the National Assembly expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, noting His Highness’ commitment to continue supporting and strengthening Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
