Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board, received today the President of the State of Israel, His Excellency Isaac Herzog. At the headquarters of the Economic Development Board in Bahrain Bay.
His Highness affirmed the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to support the values of understanding, dialogue, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, and to support international efforts that promote sustainable peace regionally and globally.
His Highness expressed his hope that Herzog’s visit to the Kingdom would lead to strengthening bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples. In this regard, His Highness stressed the importance of strengthening relations between Bahrain and Israel, and building on the bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding signed in the economic, trade and investment fields.
His Highness referred to the Kingdom’s firm and supportive commitment to promoting long-term stability, development and prosperity for all peoples of the region.
His Highness reaffirmed the importance of the Abraham Accords in strengthening mutual commitment to promoting the values of peace, coexistence and cooperation, which are the essence of building constructive partnerships between Bahrain and Israel.
The meeting also served as an opportunity to explore investment opportunities in Bahrain and Israel, including cooperation between the private sectors of both countries.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad referred to the diverse society in the Kingdom, which served as the basis for its strong economic competitiveness.
For his part, HE Herzog expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board for his warm reception in the Kingdom of Bahrain and his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by senior officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel.
