His Highness praised the depth of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which still enjoy the support of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness referred to the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom in various fields, especially in the military and defense field.
His Highness received Vice Admiral Andrew Paul Burns and the accompanying delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation to achieve common aspirations.
They also discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
