Manama, November 23 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Dr. John Chipman, Director General and CEO of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). Riffa Palace.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to support international efforts that promote development, security and stability. His Highness added that international partnerships have proven their effectiveness in facing global challenges and constitute the cornerstone for consolidating the foundations of global peace and security.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the International Institute for Strategic Studies, as nothing has succeeded in organizing the regional security forum “Manama Dialogue”, which was held recently in Bahrain in its seventeenth edition.
His Highness pointed out that the forum is an influential global platform that facilitates channels of communication and exchange of ideas on issues of regional and global security and stability.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the importance of research studies as a base on which international strategies and efforts can be built to enhance security and stability, referring to the role played by the International Institute for Research Studies in this aspect.
For his part, Dr. Shipman expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting His Highness’ commitment to strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
Dr. Shipman also expressed his thanks to the Kingdom for hosting the seventeenth edition of the “Manama Dialogue”.
