Manama, December 6 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the President of the Federal Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, Valentina Matvienko, at Al-Qudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Highness received a handwritten letter addressed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Valentina Matvienko conveyed President Putin’s greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. On the other hand, His Highness extended his greetings to President Putin.
His Highness highlighted the continuous growth of relations between Bahrain and Russia, noting the importance of strengthening cooperation and joint coordination at all levels for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
The meeting was also attended by a number of senior officials.
