Manama, August 10 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with Minister of Interior Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture. His Excellency Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, His Excellency Nawaf bin Muhammad Al-Maawda, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Saud Al-Maliki, Head of Public Security Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan, and Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh in Riffa Palace after the conclusion of Ashura.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has highlighted the strong social fabric of the Kingdom of Bahrain, making the country a haven for diverse religious practices and beliefs.
His Highness indicated that the Kingdom’s respect for all religions is an indication of Bahrain’s commitment as a model society that embodies the long-term aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior and various government agencies and their active role in meeting the needs during Ashura.
His Highness also expressed his thanks to the Jaffaria Endowments Council, the General Authority for Hussainiya Processions, and the heads of the funerals and the Husseinis for their joint cooperation and commitment to facilitating Ashura.
For their part, the ministers and senior officials expressed their thanks for His Highness’ commitment to support the necessary measures taken to meet the needs of citizens during Ashura.
